Arjun Sohal

Intro

Hi! My name is Arjun Sohal and I'm a first year student at the University of Toronto. I am currently pursuing a degree in computer science, and hoping to specialize in Artificial Intelligence. I've been programming ever since I was 14, and have multiple projects under my belt in a wide variety of fields such as: website design, data processing, machine learning, game design, and some basic 2D and 3D graphics. The language I am most familiar with is python, which is the first language I learned, a lot of my projects involve machine learning, and I have quite extensive experience with TensorFlow, TFlearn, and Keras.

Ever since I was young I have always been interested in robots, but when I started reading about the power of A.I. I knew it would be what I wanted to pursue. My goal is to use A.I. to help solve real world problems in many fields. Some of the fields I believe A.I. can be very useful in are: A.I. performed diagnosis and surgery, self driving cars, space exploration, law enforcement, climate change, and politics. I aim for my projects to be applicable in real life situations, and the one I am most proud of is my Bias Detector, which detects bias in news articles.
